The product is first class. The only problem is to get it working on systems with Vista and above. The drivers provided are not the correct drivers (on the CD or the website) But luckily there are a whole lot of forums designed to help u getting started. I wanted to give 3.5 stars

This product would be great if it only delivered a signal with it’s fantastic price. Unfortunately, this adapter was only a half to two thirds as sensitive at picking up signals as my DLink (Draft N) adapter on the same computer and wireless network. However, if price is more important than sensitivity this adapter may be for you.

Amazon’s website claims that the product is compatible with mac os x. Well, after open it up, I found only drivers for windows are included in the CD. Need a driver? Well, good luck to find one. The product has a support telephone number in Taiwan, since our day time is their night, I didn’t bother to call. And amazingly, their english website does not list the product to be compatible with mac os x. Well, I didn’t give up and with a lot of googling and the help of my Chinese, I found the driver in the companies japanese website! Happy, not yet, the driver does not install on Snow Leopard, the latest mac os. Nonetheless, I tried it on my G4 mini that runs on Leopard. Well, I am happy to report that the product worked, and that’s why it is getting two stars instead of one. The signal I am able to pick is weaker than the airport can. and although it is connected with 802.11n, it does not appear to give me better speed than my 802.11g airport. Since my main purpose for getting it is to speed-up my wi-fi connection, I didn’t find it is useful. I returned the product to Amazon.

I love this wireless adapter. I had no trouble installing — follow instructions. If you use encryption, make sure you save your setup in a profile; then you won’t have to add the encryption code each time.
Since I have a hardware problem with my ethernet adapter (100 MBPS) on my Gateway desktop I disabled it and use this instead. It’s fast!
I would buy this again!
